Velvet, which was very popular in the Baroque period and even worn by kings, is one of our favourites – it is such a comfortable and simultaneously fine fabric, and is pleasing to the wearer like virtually no other. Dressing modern-day dandies and ladies in tweed, velvet and silk is our inspiration at MARTIN JOYEUX – allowing us to tailor extravagant creations in limited number, handcrafted with love for fine details and an almost poetic touch.
In addition to our existing base of stylish and tasteful clients, MARTIN JOYEUX is increasingly winning over young, style-conscious people with its fine fabrics and modern tailoring, breathing new life into the dusty image of these rather traditional accessories.
